The Offa Descendants Union (ODU) National Headquarters, under the leadership of Alhaji Muhideen Olaniyi Azeez Salako, proudly congratulates the newly elected executives of the ODU Bauchi Branch. These esteemed individuals have been chosen to steer the affairs of the branch and continue the Union’s mission of fostering unity and progress among Offa indigenes in Bauchi State.

The newly elected executives are:

  1. Alhaji Ismaila Opoola – Chairman
  2. Mr. Maroof Abdul Rahman – Vice Chairman
  3. Mr. Sarafadeen Adebayo – Secretary
  4. Mr. Sheriff Usman – Assistant Secretary
  5. Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulazeez – Financial Secretary
  6. Mr. Nasiru Kolade – Assistant Financial Secretary
  7. Mr. Muyideen San – Treasurer

These leaders have been entrusted with the responsibility of guiding the Bauchi Branch, ensuring that the objectives of the ODU are upheld and that the welfare of Offa indigenes in Bauchi is prioritized. The President of ODU, Alhaji Muhideen Olaniyi Azeez Salako, offered prayers for divine guidance and wisdom for the newly elected executives as they embark on their leadership journey.

“May God grant the newly elected leaders the wisdom and strength to serve with integrity and dedication,” Alhaji Salako said in his congratulatory message.

The ODU Bauchi Branch plays a vital role in maintaining the bond between Offa descendants living in Bauchi and their roots. The newly elected executives are expected to build on the successes of their predecessors and further the Union’s goals of promoting unity, cultural heritage, and the socio-economic development of Offa indigenes.

As the new executives assume their roles, they are encouraged to lead with transparency, inclusiveness, and a focus on community development. Their leadership will be crucial in driving initiatives that support the welfare and growth of Offa descendants in Bauchi, ensuring that the Union’s presence in the region remains strong and impactful.

In closing, Alhaji Salako invoked the blessings of the Alale Offa, the spiritual guardian of Offa, to guide and protect the newly elected executives and the entire ODU Bauchi Branch as they work towards achieving their goals.

“Alale Offa yio gbe wa oo,” he declared, invoking a traditional blessing that translates to “The spirit of Offa will support us.”
