The Offa Descendants Union (ODU) National Headquarters, led by Alhaji Muhideen Olaniyi Azeez Salako, paid a historic courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba Adesoye Adebowale Jimoh Adetona I, the Elerin of Erin-Ile, on December 31, 2024.

The visit served as an opportunity to express appreciation for the warm delegation sent by the Elerin of Erin-Ile during the grand 2024 Ijakadi Annual Festival. The ODU delegation received a warm and royal welcome at the palace, where they were hosted by Oba Adesoye Jimoh, alongside Engr. Kolapo Usman, the National President of the Erin-Ile Descendants Union (EPU), and other notable palace chiefs.

Both parties agreed that land-related matters should be settled directly by affected families or individuals through legal processes rather than allowing disputes to escalate into broader community conflicts.
